    Area - Now and Then
The Property is a stone’s throw from the 2012 Olympic Park, hence, an  ideal home for a short duration for both entertaining and a sanctuary after a hard day shopping or working.

The property was built in the middle 1800's as a family home during the Victorian empowerment Era and has since been converted into luxurious flats suitable for the standards of this century.

The legendary Epping Forest is a stone's throw away with its magical lake and rowing boats. The famous Alfred Hitchcock Pub opposite the Forest is a stone throw away with its family friendly Sunday Roast dinner and relaxing Gardens.

The Area has always been a residential hub of business activity and it continues to be so today.

Due to the Olympics, there has been an influx of Young City Professionals into the area, hence, an array of internet Cafes and Bars are readily available. Whilst there is a local night life in Leytonstone, the fact that the West-end (Greatest Party Area in the world!!) is only 15min -20 minutes door-to-door for most residents by tube, means everyone generally partys in the West-End and then leave the chaos to come back home to a totally residential and relatively peaceful area.

But for completeness here is a general overview of this part of London: Shopping is the lifeblood of any main centre in London and it’s the same in Leytonstone. An amazing array of shops, pubs and restaurants stretch the length of High Road.

In Leytonstone you can enjoy the benefits of shopping in the top high street stores and stock up at the best supermarkets. But you can also enjoy shopping at friendly smaller shops that have often been in the same family for generations, flowers, exotic fruits, jewellery and even good old-fashioned brushes and brooms, the choice is endless.
You are never far from a good pub, café or restaurant offering drinks and menus from around the world. Leytonstone enjoys the best of both worlds with pubs that in the 18th Century were stopping places for the Norwich Stage Coach.

Epping Forest is the domineering parkland which still bedazzles tourists and locals alike with its charming lake and endless trees which makes you imagine you are miles away from London rather than in the middle of it. It is worthy a visit especially on a Sunday when the whole forest is buzzing with locals having picnics.

Good Transport links offers easy access into the City (Central line -10 minutes), Canary Wharf (DLR via Stratford Station), the West end/City (Central Line) and Oxford Street / Shepherds Bush for the ultimate in Retail Therapy - Shopping. Canary Wharf and the City are just 10 minutes away on the Tube Station (London Underground Station via Central Line - Leytonstone Station)
